Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings and participation in rafting activities operated by Payung Rafting Ubud. By making a reservation, you agree to the terms outlined below.

 1. General Information

  • Payung Rafting Ubud provides white water rafting experiences along the Ayung River.
  • All activities are conducted under professional supervision with safety as the top priority.
  • Participants must follow all instructions given by guides and staff at all times.

 2. Booking & Reservation

  • Bookings can be made via website, WhatsApp, or authorized representatives.
  • A booking is considered confirmed after receiving a deposit or full payment.
  • Availability is subject to confirmation, especially during peak seasons.

 3. Payment Terms

  • Payment can be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) or USD based on the current exchange rate.
  • Full payment must be completed before the activity starts.
  • Payments via credit card may incur an additional 3% bank fee.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

  • Cancellation more than 48 hours before the activity: full refund or reschedule.
  • Cancellation within 24–48 hours: 50% charge applies.
  • Cancellation less than 24 hours or no-show: no refund.
  • Refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 working days.

5. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling is allowed at least 24 hours before the activity, subject to availability.
  • Last-minute changes may not be accommodated.

6. Participant Requirements

  • Minimum age: 6 years old
  • Maximum age: 65 years old (depending on health condition)
  • Participants must be in good physical health
  • Not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with serious medical conditions
  • Non-swimmers are allowed but must inform staff in advance

7. Safety & Liability

  • All participants must attend the safety briefing before rafting begins.
  • Standard safety equipment (helmet, life jacket, paddle) is provided and must be used properly.
  • Participants agree to follow guide instructions strictly during the activity.
  • Payung Rafting Ubud is not responsible for accidents caused by negligence or failure to follow instructions.

8. Insurance

  • Basic insurance coverage is included for participants aged 6–65.
  • Coverage is subject to the terms of the insurance provider.
  • Personal travel insurance is recommended for additional protection.

9. Weather & Force Majeure

  • Rafting activities operate in most weather conditions, including rain.
  • In case of extreme weather or unsafe river conditions, the activity may be rescheduled or canceled for safety reasons.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations due to force majeure events (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.), but rescheduling options will be offered.

10. Personal Belongings

  • Lockers are available at the basecamp.
  • Participants are advised not to bring valuables during rafting.
  • Payung Rafting Ubud is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.

11. Photography & Media

  • Photos and videos may be taken during the activity by our team or third-party providers.
  • These are optional and may require additional payment.
  • By participating, guests agree that photos/videos may be used for promotional purposes unless otherwise requested.

12. Transportation

  • Hotel transfers are available for selected areas (if included in the package).
  • Pickup times are estimates and may vary depending on traffic and location.
  • Guests who miss the pickup time without prior notice may be considered no-show.

13. Physical Conditions & Accessibility

  • Participants must be able to walk up and down stairs (approximately 10–15 minutes).
  • The activity may not be suitable for elderly guests or those with limited mobility.

14. Code of Conduct

  • Participants must behave respectfully toward guides, staff, and other guests.
  •  Any dangerous or disruptive behavior may result in removal from the activity without refund.

15. Changes to Itinerary

  • The itinerary is subject to change depending on weather, river conditions, or operational needs.
  • Any changes will prioritize safety and guest experience.

16. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Indonesia.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in accordance with local regulations.
